Patriots Work out Mitch Berger

The Patriots worked out with veteran punter Mitch Berger today. If signed, Berger, 35, would join a punting group of Josh Miller, Danny Baugher, and Tom Malone. Miller has been performing well thus far, and I don’t see a reason that the Patriots would need another punter. Maybe BB wants some competition for Miller (although Malone and Baugher in particular have been performing well). Maybe there’s been an injury to Miller. However, today is the Pats’ day off, so we’ll just have to wait until practice resumes tommorrow (aren’t you excited with the big time anticipation???)
