The Patriots claimed rookie Chris Patrick off waivers today. If you remember, Patrick was eligable for the supplemental draft back in July. I’m not sure if he’s NFL caliber, but he’s definately worth a look. Even before the draft, the rookie tackle said he would be honored to play for the Pats. He has good height for a lineman, but is a little light, weighing in at 260. However, he does have nice footwork, and versatility. Who knows, maybe he can compete for the right tackle position.

Chris is a MI native. He played at Ithica MI not NY. He is not a New England native.
