The Patriots were once again victim to a late field goal, as they dropped their second of two preseason games.  The quarterbacks were slacking, but the receivers were moving, and there were some great individual performances to report.

- Le Kevin Smith: Started at LE, and made an impact, making 5 tackles and a sack.

- Reche Caldwell: Played pretty well in extended  action at receiver.

- Rodney Harrison: Looked explosive in his limited playing time.  Was all over the field making three early tackles.

- Kevin Faulk: Wasn’t too hot running, but picked up 89 yards on six receptions.

- Matt Gutierrez: Was a little off target, but racked up some yards, and ran for a pivotal TD.
