That is what makes it so shocking acutally, like you said, the patriots "dominated" on offensee and forced 3 turnovers, but only managed to win by 3 points.

I think the Patriots are fine, but something I have seen all season is that the defense is not what it used to be.

The blueprint talk is fairly ridiculous. The fact is the defense did play a fairly lousy game, save Samuel, but the offense was basically clicking with almost the same efficiency it has throughout the season. Some may argue this is not the case, but that is simply because of one terrible push-off call on Randy Moss. If Randy Moss scores that touchdown and there is no offensive interference call, Randy Moss finishes with 50 yards and a touchdown and no one even suggests that he got completely shut down. In addition, the Patriots extend the lead and don't end up missing a field goal which ends up giving the Eagles hope and pumping them up to go down for a touchdown. The Patriots would have went up then scored that next touchdown and the victory would have at least ten points. It was that one terrible interference call in which Moss who does use his hands, didn't really use them. However, that would not make for foolish theories that there is some kind of blueprint to stop the Patriots offense. Also, when did letting a team score 31 points become shutting down and thus implicitly having some incredible defensive scheme. The Eagles hardly ever got to Brady, and he threw for almost 400 yards. Just because they gave the ball to Maroney near the goal line and Brady didn't get his 3 touchdowns doesn't mean they shut him down. People seem to be ignoring these facts while they jump on the blueprint bandwagon. The Patriots outplayed the Eagles throughout the game, and anyone who watched the game had the feeling the Patriots could score whenever they wanted to. However, this was not the case in the Colts game and that is something that Pats fans should be legitimately concerned about. The Eagles game does not warrant the concern the media would like you to think, but ESPN does want ratings next week for the Baltimore game, a game which many people would not have watched because they assumed it would just be another blowout. Therefore, the blueprint bonanza will be running wild this week on ESPN, while the game will be another blowout in which Ray Lewis will admit to shooting Sean Taylor and then proceed to go after Brady. (Too Soon?)
