Rumor: Bethel Johnson to Return?
Yesterday, the Patriots hosted free agent wide receiver Bethel Johnson for a visit. As you probably remember, Johnson was our second round pick in 2003. Despite his blazing speed and return abilities, Johnson was never able to catch on in New England, getting traded for Jonathan Sullivan last season.
My guess is that the Patriots are interested in his services for his special teams play. Johnson really is prolific in that area, and could greatly help the team in that facet of the game.
