Andre Tippett is a Hall of Famer.

Finally.   After being denied countless times, former Patriots linebacker Andre Tippett has been inducted to the Hall of Fame.

One of the greatest pass-rushing linebackers of All-Time, Tippett was required to receive 35 of the 44 Hall of Fame votes, which he obviously did.  This is kind of random, but something tells me that Andre would have been really good on this team.

After the induction, Tippett stated:

“This is by far the proudest moment of my professional football career. I will be joining the greats of the game and I am deeply honored. This recognition does not only belong to me, but also to my family, the Patriots organization, my teammates and especially the fans.”

I’m really excited for Tippett, and it’s great to see a Patriot once again make the Hall of Fame.  Tippett, a five time All-Pro, finished his career with 100 sacks, including a 18.5 sack season in 1984.
