Patriots Sign Victor Hobson

According to NFL Network’s Adam Schefter, the Patriots have signed former Jets linebacker Victor Hobson to a one year deal.

Although Hobson struggled last year, he has been healthy and productive most of his career.  He is a strong tackler, can hit hard, and most importantly, and 28, brings a little youth to the linebacker position.

I think this is a great signing, as they Patriots now don’t need immediate help at LB.  They could wait around until the fourth round and snag a guy like J Leman for the inside.

I think this is a good signing. Greg, where do you think he will play in the 3-4?

Hobson really slowed down last year. You guys can have him. He’s unathletic, but he does hit HARD
