Patriots Still Interested in Pacman?

This is one of those rumors that just won’t die.  According to the Nashville City Paper:

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the suspension of Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones.

Though time may be running out for Jones to move his career to Dallas – where he has lobbied for a job – he appears to be getting signs of interest from the New England Patriots.

According to sources, the Pats have contacted the Titans about Jones behind the scenes, but have yet to enter into any formal negotiations. That is something that could materialize near draft time, depending on what happens with talks with the Cowboys.

Again, I’m not sure I understand this.  But it really depends on the risk factor.  How much would the Patriots have to give up to get him?  If it’s a sixth or seventh round pick, I say go for it.  Anything more, and it’s too much of a risk.

Ha ha ha! Jones for 6th or 7th raund?? Good joke….:-D…Adam was 1th raund pick and naw we will trade him for 6-7th raund! J dont share your opinion! You talk abouth risk? We risk with Moss and Wes.W last year and thay have fantastic seasons!!
But haw you sad, that is only rumor. Chance to PaT®IoTs trade Jones are very little ,something abouth 15%!!

Randy Moss was a perennial superstar but we got him for a fourth round pick. Why, because he was a risk. Doesn’t matter what round a player is taken in. W. Welker wasn’t a risk, when we traded for him, I predicted he would have at least 100 catches.

So, you have a guy that has committed crimes, could screw up your chemistry, and hasn’t proved very much in the league. He’s been out of football for a year, and no one knows what kind of shape he is. The Titans might ask for a third or fourth round pick, but I GUARANTEE you, the best they get is a fifth round pick, but more likely a sixth round pick.

Greg , j know abouth risk with Jones, but j think that risk is minimal! This is his last chance and he will be motivated to prove himself!!! Us need CB,him need new club!
For me giving 4th round pick for him isnt bad idea!

Birds of a feather……..given that the Pats are a criminal enterprise and consistently engaged in illeegal wiretaping, its not surprising that they may be interested in Pacman. Pacman just likes to “tap” women, but maybe he can add video taping to his skill set. God knows that Pats know how to teach that.
