Patriots Confirm: Brady Out for the Year
The Patriots made this official release:
“After extensive tests this morning, it was revealed that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s left knee, which was injured in the first quarter of yesterday’s game, will require surgery. He will be placed on injured reserve and will miss the remainder of the 2008 season.”
This release just confirms reports that Tom Brady is done for the year. When the Patriots take the field next week, Tom Brady won’t be under center, and that’s a scary thought.
More to come.

Have faith in B.B.
The last time our starter suffered a serious injury some 6th round pick out of Michigan came in…and if i remember correctly a few good things happened for us over the next few years. Now I’m not saying that Matt Cassel is the next Tom Brady, but Belichick obviously has faith in Cassel, his brain and his abilities; If he didn’t, he would no longer be a part of this club.
In Belichick we trust.
