Channing Crowder, who we have seen first hand for the past couple years, will come at a cheaper price and give almost as much production. Besides, the compensation in a trade could get us a great player at a cheaper price too. Again, there is no reason not to sign Cassel to the tag. He's a great player, and maybe if they worked out a two or three year deal, they could wait until Brady's contract expires (2010) and make a move to make him quarterback of the future then (or, they could do it now).
