His yardage since last year at this point has dropped significantly. Last year he was in the top 5 for yardage for almost the entire season now he is in the top 20. However last year he had a slightly lower passer rating and crucially we werent 6-1 and top of the NFL. So do you prefer this years less prolific but more successful Brady??

Well its easy to say that now we all prefer Brady as the “less prolific.” Even in yrs past we've seen brady Make some mistakes, often stupid ones.  The best example I can think of is last year against the Dolphins, when he threw that pick to Channing Chrowder to end the game.

Without Moss, Brady isn't forcing passes.  That's benefiting himself, other receivers, and most importantly, the outcome of the games.  Certainly, this years Brady is better, and he's the runaway candidate for MVP.

Of course it would have been easy to say it now but for the record I did post this when we were about 3-1 and Brady was barely throwing 200 yrds a game since then he has certainly regained a “prolific” status given the QB rating he's hitting consistently
